  • Lead level artist responsible for overseeing the completion of eight production levels from initial design and block out to final polish

  • Start to finish art pass on large game play areas including environment modeling and  layout, texture creation and prop modeling

  • Implement new techniques and technologies in partnership with engineers, designers, and technical artists

  • Align with Production Team to develop milestones and overall project goals

  • Manage 4-5 artists including development of schedules and task lists; provide critique to maintain artistic vision

  • Coach and develop junior artists

  • Collaborate with multiple departments including Design, Animation and Effects to organize and implement  assets into the level

  • Work with technical artists on optimization and performance to ensure levels ran with in spec

  • Create models and assemble scenes for both architectural and organic environments with a focus on modularity

  • Responsible for creating texture sets for environments

  • Generate real time lighting, vertex lighting bakes and ambient occlusion bakes

  • Work closely with level designers to help create level layout and game play

  • Partner with concept artists to create a style and overall look for assigned levels

  • Collaborate with engineers and technical artists to troubleshoot levels making sure they are in frame rate, memory and design spec
